This place easily earns its 4 1/2 star rating. I know that the Bangkok Garden thing is sort of a chain around here for Thai food, but this location honestly knocks it out of the park. It's in a weird sort of strip mall, so very unassuming when you walk up, but once you head in, it feels romantic and authentic. Dim lighting, excellent service. They have a decent alcohol list, and comfortable seating.
On my most recent visit, I ordered chicken pad thai (which is pretty much my go-to order whenever I first try a Thai spot). I asked for it at the 2 spice level. At most Thai places I've visited in Hampton Roads, a 1 basically means they added no spice at all to the dish. 2 is usually the most minimal level of chili sauce to kick it up a notch. I can't take too much heat, so that's what I've become accustomed to ordering. Let me tell you - a 2 here is like a 3-4 other places. If you're a spicy fan and you want to kill yourself, go order a 5 at this location. They will HOOK YOU UP. I enjoyed what I could in the moment, and then took the rest home. The next day - couldn't eat it. As you probably know - let that spice sit in there overnight and it's double hot the next day.
I'm totally up for trying this place again in the future, but now I know to order the 1 for real next time. And if you're a spicy Thai lover - THIS is the spot you should be going to if you are disappointed with other Thai offerings in the area. -

My wife and I visited here for he first time today, and thoroughly enjoyed it. We used to go to the one in Norfolk, but nowadays you have to pay a tunnel toll, and make the drive. This is the same and much closer!
Excellent service, nice ambiance, and good food! -

Delicious Thai food and excellent service. I had the spicy eggplant and the special Avocado Green Curry...both dishes were divine. Will be back soon!

This place is kind of a hidden gem considering its location. I like the the food and the ambience. It's very intruiging in its own right and just kinda sets the mood for something different. I'm all about finding places in this general area b/c we need work on the quality and variety of what exists. This place is definitely in the list of 'worth a try' and if you're in the mood for it, go for it!
The food was really good and I would say overall very authentic to what you expect and my wife absolutely crushed some of the soup they offer. not much outside of this other than, yes, would try again, a good, solid place that has no significant highs or lows... just good all around. =)
